A February Vacation Theatre Program

Get your child out of the house and onto the stage during winter vacation week! At the Stadium’s week-long theatre program, students step into the spotlight singing songs and performing choreographed scenes. Under the direction of experienced musical theatre instructors, performers learn about vocal pitch, timing and rhythm, all while boosting self-confidence and encouraging team building skills.
On the final day, every student will perform on the Stadium Theatre’s grand hall stage.

Rock and Roll Forever: How it all Began
Ages 6-8A wop bop a loo bop a wop bam boom — it’s time to celebrate the birth of rock and roll! We will take you on a high-energy journey through music history with the legends who started it all — from Elvis “The King,” Little Richard, and James Brown to The Beach Boys, The Beatles, and more. This musical revue is jam-packed with iconic hits, fascinating rock and roll facts, and a healthy dose of fun. Featuring an original theme song plus five classic rock and roll favorites in kid-friendly arrangements, it’s the perfect way to get students singing, moving, and learning.
Groovy
Ages 9-13Travis, Muriel, and Alice decide to throw a free Music, Beads, and Flowers Celebration. A popular singing group, The Lemon Bugs, love the idea and donate their talent. In no time, crazily-painted busses start arriving at Crumb’s Apple Farm, the site of the festival. Everything is going nicely until Mrs. Porter, who hates ’The Love Generation,’ shows up and demands that the local police close it down. If this wasn’t bad enough, two music promoters offer The Lemon Bugs a deal they can’t refuse if they will skip the celebration.
