Melissa Myers

Melissa is a performing arts educator, resident director, and choreographer with a strong background in musical theatre performance and arts programming. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Dean College, where she also received the Artist Academic Excellence Award and was recognized with a Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Ensemble Award for All Shook Up.

Melissa works at Mercymount Country Day School, where she is actively engaged in curriculum design and the implementation of dynamic performing arts programming. In the past year, she has successfully introduced new extracurricular opportunities, including Junior and Teen Musical Theatre Stars.

In addition to her work in education, Melissa has professional stage experience in Boston-based theatre, including roles in Stage Kiss with Psych Drama Company and Beneath the Skin with Pariah Theatre Company. Her performance credits also include Dean College productions such as She Loves Me, All Shook Up, and All Together Now, as well as appearing in Godspell at the South Shore Music Circus as the “By My Side” soloist.
