Talia is a freelance musician, educator, and music director with a diverse background in performance and theatre. She earned her Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music, where she studied Contemporary Writing & Production and Film Scoring. She also trained under Margaret Phillips on bassoon, developing a strong foundation in both classical and contemporary music.
Talia has extensive experience in educational and theatrical settings, serving as Choral Director and Theater Music Director at Mount St. Charles Academy from 2023 to 2026. Her work has supported a wide range of productions, including Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King Jr., Seussical, Chicago, Twelfth Night, Fiddler on the Roof, Madagascar: A Musical Adventure, Clue, and Grease, performing as a pit musician and helping bring each show to life through music.
In addition to theatre, Talia performs with several ensembles, including the Ocean State Pops Orchestra as Principal Bassoon, The American Band, and the South County Chamber Orchestra. She is also an experienced private teacher specializing in woodwinds.
