Stephanie Rose Witz

Stephanie Witz is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where she earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Education. While at URI, she studied under Renee De La Garza and Amy Del Santo and performed with the University of Rhode Island Opera Workshop. Stephanie is currently a Music Teacher at Deering Middle School in West Warwick, Rhode Island.

Her performance experience spans regional theatre and concert stages throughout New England, including the University of Hartford's Hartt School of Music, the Bushnell Theatre, Mass Arts Center, Walpole Footlighters, Arctic Playhouse, and the West Hartford Summer Arts Festival. Career highlights include performing in Ragtime: In Concert alongside touring members of the Broadway production and appearing with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the URI Concert Choir in Star Wars: In Concert at the Dunkin Donuts Center.

A Stadium Theatre veteran of over eight years, Stephanie has performed in numerous productions, with favorite roles including Frenchy (Grease), Hunyak (Chicago), Babette (Beauty and the Beast), Jordan (The Great Gatsby), Mrs. Cratchitt (A Christmas Carol), Lucinda (Into the Woods), Poppy (Noises Off), and Graziella (West Side Story). She was also nominated for a 2024 EMACT DASH Award for Specialty Ensemble in Gypsy and has received nominations from the Motif Awards and BroadwayWorld Awards.
