Joey is a Rhode Island resident and is the Director of Education and Community Programs at the Gamm Theatre. He is a graduate of Wheaton College with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre & Dance and Music. Joey has also completed a certificate program with the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. A long-time actor and lighting designer for numerous Stadium Theatre productions, Joey returns to the stage, having last appeared in the 2021 production of Annie, and now makes his directorial debut. He has performed with theatre organizations such as Kresge Theatre Company, Scituate Youth Drama, and East End Theatre & Performing Arts. Joey’s favorite roles have been Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland and Eugene in Grease. In his free time, he enjoys playwriting and exploring Rhode Island.
