Job Description
Position: Business Development Manager
Reports to: Executive Director/CEO, Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Centre & Conservatory
Position Summary: The Business Development Manager is responsible for the acquisition, managing and revenue collection of event sponsorships, private receptions, advertising for the Stadium’s Footlights program book and dining guide, managing all fundraising events, donations, and legacy wall campaign.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities and initiate contact with prospective community partners for sponsorships, program book advertising and the dining guide
- Steward relationships to build strong, positive and lasting connections
- Travel required to maintain regular visitation with clients and to deliver marketing materials
- Generate sales contracts and invoices and collect revenue
- Responsible for operating and managing the annual fundraisers; Auction for the Arts, Beer Fest, Culinary Secrets, Wine Women and Jewelry
- Main contact for VIP behind the curtain experiences, delegate tasks as needed.
- Process and keep record of donation requests
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to ensure accuracy of advertisements and fulfillment of specific requirements
- Maintain database of all sponsors and advertisers with their financial and support history
- Develop strategies to meet or exceed established sales goals
- Regularly attend networking events
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends and attend sponsored events
- Plan and attend all private receptions and coordinate sponsor’s requests with local caterer
- Develop and grow Legacy Wall donor sales
- Additional duties not in this job description may be required
Training and Qualifications:
- 5 years professional sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation
- Demonstrated success in a position requiring direct contact and relationship building with clients and partners
- Ability to work independently and coordinate a variety of tasks simultaneously with great attention to detail
- Must have the physical ability to lift 20lbs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Theatrical Main Stage Productions:
Description:
The Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Centre & Conservatory is seeking energetic, creative Performing Artists and Technicians, specializing in directing, choreographing, stage managing, and design to become part of our Production Team for our 2023-2024 Theatrical Season. We produce between 8-10 full scale shows per season. Each production’s schedule runs between 8-13 weeks. Positions are filled on a rolling basis.
Responsibilities:
- Attending all production meetings.
- Submit schedules, reports, and support material, relevant to your position, on time and follows the guidelines and expectations outlined by the Artistic Director.
- All members of the production team are expected to be in attendance during the entire production hired for.
- Nurture positive relationships with all actors, musicians, technicians and Stadium staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Bachelors of Fine Arts degree is preferred or equivalent life experience.
- Expertise in the performing arts.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Positivity, enthusiasm, flexibility and a sense of humor is a must!

Hiring Teaching Artists
Description: 2023 Conservatory Programs
The Stadium Theatre Conservatory’s Education Department is seeking energetic and creative Teaching Artist to join our Conservatory Teaching Staff for the 2022-2023 Conservatory Season.
Specifically, we are looking for Teaching Artists who will be able to teach classes in the following areas:
Costume Design
Theatrical Make-Up
Voice
And we are also looking for Teaching Artists who will be able to teach one-off workshops in the following areas:
Beginning Ballroom Dance
Dialects
Self-Defense
Positions are filled on a rolling basis. Teaching Artists are responsible to develop curriculum that follows the guidelines and expectations outlined as by the Education Director.
Responsibilities:
- Attending Stadium’s staff meetings.
- Submit comprehensive Lesson Plans & detailed Rehearsal Schedules to the Education Director.
- Remain in attendance for the entire session;
- Provide excellent leadership, mentorship and guidance for all participants in the program.
- Nurture positive relationships with all students, parents, and Stadium staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Bachelors of Fine Arts degree required, Masters or Masters of Fine Arts preferred, Theatre Education is preferred.
- Teaching experience and the ability to creatively work with youth.
- Expertise in the performing arts.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm, flexibility, patience, and sense of humor is a must!
Winter Conservatory Dates 2023
January 1st, 2023 – March 23rd, 2023
Classes typically run on Tuesday & Thursday evenings, and Saturdays.
Spring Conservatory Dates 2023:
March 27th, 2023 – June 13th, 2023
