Position: Sound Engineer & Building Manager - Full-Time

Reports to: Facilities Director, Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Centre

Position Summary: The Sound Engineer and Building Manager is responsible for sound design and production for approximately 15 theatre productions per season. The Sound Engineer and Building Manager is also responsible for scheduling repair and maintenance of the Stadium campus through subcontractors.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Meet with production team to fulfill sound requirements
-Work the sound board for the rehearsals and productions
-Order cleaning supplies
-Communicate cleaning schedule with cleaning company
-Arrange tables in Marquee room as needed for events
-Maintain all lighting, including emergency lighting
-Reviews quarterly fire inspection reports and comply
-Schedule contractors for HVAC unit and boiler maintenance, painting and plastering, carpet repair, upholstery, duct, chandelier, stage curtain and seat cleaning as needed
-Keep grounds clean from debris and manage snow removal with contractors
-Additional duties not in job description may be required.

Training and Qualifications:
Sound Engineer experience necessary.  This position also requires knowledge in construction. Candidate must be able to lift 50lbs. This position requires knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook and Internet skills.  Individual must be personable, organized and pay attention to details.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
