Stadium Theatre Employment Opportunities

Position: Building Manager - Part Time (25 hours per week)

Reports to: Facilities Director, Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Centre

Position Summary:The building manager should have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people along with varying skills and competencies as well as performing general repairs as needed. They should be able to schedule and plan duties for janitorial services and contractors for the complex. Be able to provide quarterly reports and testing of the safety systems as required. They should be detail oriented, good judgement, and also have good communication skills.

They must be versatile and can multi-task to be able to do several tasks at the same time, quickly analyze and resolve specific problems, and manage deadlines all while maintaining budgets.

Schedule and handle snow removal of the complex, including all walkways, alleys, and stairs, treating as needed to maintain safe conditions for all shows.

Primary Responsibilities:     

-Order cleaning supplies
-Communicate cleaning schedule with cleaning company
-Keep grounds clean from debris and manage snow removal
-Arrange tables in Marquee room as needed
-Paint as needed
-Maintain all lighting including emergency lighting
-Maintains HVAC unit and boiler maintenance
-Reviews quarterly fire inspection reports and comply
-Maintain and repair carpet, upholstery, duct, chandelier, stage curtain and seat cleaning.
-Schedule painting and plastering and as needed
-Plan and administers building department budget.
-Offer compliance safety classes for set builders 4 to 5 times a year while tracking those who completed the course.
-Additional duties not in job description may be required.

Training and Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction or construction management.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
