Stadium Summer Stage
A Summer Vacation Theatre Day Camp For Ages 6 to 16
The Stadium Summer Camp ‘Summer Stage is open! There is limited space and registrations will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. We are working with the Rhode Island Department of Human Services (RIDHS) and complying with their COVID-19 guidelines. All participants will be screened upon arrival for temperature with an infrared touch free thermometer and must complete this form daily.
One of the guidelines requires smaller groups, therefore, all participants will receive more individualized instruction.
Thousands of youth have learned a multitude of theatre techniques from experienced theatre directors and choreographers, developing confidence while realizing the value of teamwork along the way.
Each Summer Stage session will include curriculum designed to teach the art of auditioning, memorization, vocal technique, choreography, character development, stage craft, and improvisation, through theatre games and instruction by theatre majors and seasoned theatre veterans.
On the final day of each session, students will showcase their new talents on the grand stage. Due to the States restrictions on gatherings the live performance will be recorded and a link will be provided to the parent or guardian on the final day. There you may view and share your child’s amazing performance. This year you will even be able to share it with grandma in Florida!
Three two-week sessions are offered through the months of July and August. Choose one, two, or all three sessions.
Summer Stage participants will be placed in appropriate age groups.
Don't let your child miss out on...
