Alex Tirrell - Instructor

Alex lives in Providence, Rhode Island and has his Bachelor’s in Music from Rhode Island College. He is a self-employed musician, freelance music director, pianist, and vocalist. His favorite performance experiences at the Stadium are: Peter Pan, Newsies, A Christmas Carol, Into The Woods, Rock of Ages, Chicago, Grease, Sister Act, and A Chorus Line. Alex is a Broadway World Award winner for Best Music Direction & Orchestra Performance for the Stadium's production of Into The Woods. He was honored to work with world renowned artist, Gunhild Carling, as her musical director for her concert at the Stadium Theatre. Alex has also worked with Brown University, Trinity Repertory Company, Theatre by the Sea, and the Little Theatre of Fall River. He also has extensive experience working in music education at various high schools throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
