Dean Palmer Jr. - Instructor
Dean Palmer Jr. is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University. He has worked in many aspects of Theatre and production including corporate events, concerts, festivals, Regional Theatre and Off-Off Broadway for 19 years. These events were in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New York.
Dean was lighting designer for several shows at the Stadium Theatre, including Miss Saigon, American Idiot, A Chorus Line, and most recently Beauty and the Beast. He designed two original plays, Drowning in the Sun and Cracked (Upon a Time) at the Producer’s Club Theater and the Drama Bookshop in New York City, with The Royal Pyngwyn Collective.
Dean resides in Cumberland, Rhode Island, with his wife Lisa, (Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Reno in Anything Goes), and their three year old son, Lucas.
