For Ages 14 to Adult
Work closely with an instructor on the conception and writing of a ten-minute one act play. Learn a variety of tools designed to offer a strong sense of the specifics of writing for the stage. Topics covered in this class include dialogue, action, conflict, motivation, plot, structure, and subtext with special emphasis on feedback and revision to improve your work. This class will collaborate with the Directing course and Acting II course. This class will culminate in a final showcase.

The Safety of our Stadium family is paramount. We are following the state of Rhode Island guidelines and recommendations to keep all participants safe. Mandatory safety procedures include health screenings of all participants upon arrival for every class, as well as mandatory mask wearing at all times. When are the Stadium's Playwriting classes?
10 Weeks: Tuesdays, March 30th – June 8th from 6:30 PM - 8 PM
(no classes held on April 20th)
Showcase will be held on Monday, June 14th at 6:30 PM (Students arrive at 5 PM)
What does the Playwriting course cost?
Tuition is $180 (Full tuition is due at registration.)
