Acting I

For Ages 13 to Adult


 

A continuation from Acting Foundations, actors will explore drama through improvisation, monologues, and scene work. They will learn to build characters through choices, actions, and emotions. Solo and ensemble work are explored. This class will culminate in a final showcase.

Course Prerequisite: Acting Foundations or a sign off from the Stadium Theatre Education Director.

The Safety of our Stadium family is paramount. We are following the state of Rhode Island guidelines and recommendations to keep all participants safe. Mandatory safety procedures include health screenings of all participants upon arrival for every class, as well as mandatory mask wearing at all times. When are the Stadium's Acting I classes?

10 Weeks: Wednesdays, January 6th – March 17th from 6 PM-7:30 PM
(no classes held on February 17th)

Showcase will be held on Wednesday, March 17th at 6:30 PM (Students arrive at 5 PM)


What does the Acting I course cost?

Tuition is $180 (Full tuition is due at registration.)
