Message from President Jean Rondeau

The dedicated and hard working staff, volunteers and board of directors strive to make your visits to The Stadium Theatre pleasant and memorable. The support of local and regional businesses, advertisers, sponsors, grants organizations and foundation members share important roles in supporting performances, restoration and improvements to the physical plant and operations. We encourage and hope you will consider them when you shop for goods and services.

While our commitment to the preservation of this historic building continues, we strive to take advantage of the many improvements in technology and customer support/safety systems now available so we may better serve our patrons.

We purchased the two story (front) section of The Stadium Realty building last year and are in the process of converting it to much needed office space. The installation of sprinklers this summer was the final major project to put The Stadium Theatre in compliance with RI fire regulations. And patrons will surely enjoy stepping up to the bar at the new Stadium Bistro located at the far end of the lobby. The carpeting in the arcade enhances the appearance and eliminates a slipping hazard. Last but certainly not least, the new alley pavement and lighting is guaranteed to please all.

Behind the scenes, work continues to upgrade the “Green Rooms” to improve the comfort of performers; we’ve replaced our wireless microphone system with new technology to enhance the audio quality of live theatre. We have also replaced our wireless headsets with improved technology to improve the experience of our hearing impaired patrons.

In closing, I want to thank you for your patronage…you have options on where to spend your entertainment dollars and we all thank you for choosing The Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Centre.
