Cabaret: The Musical

Presented by Counter Productions Theatre Company

In Cabaret, Cliff Bradshaw, an aspiring American writer witnesses the escalating political and social unrest in Berlin as the Nazi Party begins it's ascension to power. Concurrently, Cliff falls in love with Sally Bowles, an exuberant singer struggling to remain oblivious to the change taking place in Germany. In contrast to Cliff and Sally’s exciting romance is the poignant relationship between Cliff's landlady Fräulein Schneider and a Jewish fruit vendor named Herr Schultz. Throughout the musical, both couples struggle to adjust and cope with the ever changing political environment, while the mysterious 'Master of Ceremonies' observes from the balconies of the seedy Kit Kat Klub.
